About This Blend

Rooibos (alternatively called Red Bush) is native to one specific region in South Africa. After harvesting, the young leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis plant are bruised, cut and left to ferment. This process gives the tea its distinctive red colour. Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and rich in Vitamin C, iron and magnesium.

If you like Rooibos, you may also like Honeybush, from the same region of South Africa but sweeter in aroma and flavour. Try our plain Organic Rooibos and Honeybush or our Honeybush blend, African Miracle.

Tasting Notes

Tea of Happiness flavoured rooibos tea makes a beautiful, russet-orange infusion which grows deeper in hue depending on the brewing time and quantity used. It has a slightly sweet, nutty flavour, that is rounded and warm with a perfect vanilla raspberry finish.

Brewing Guide

1 teaspoon per cup. Brew 5-10 mins. Use water just off the boil. Adjust both quantity and brew time according to desired strength. Drink without milk.
