Oolong Tea
Oolong is traditionally crafted in small quantities by hand. It is semi-oxidised which accounts for its unique character. The semi-oxidation also gives the tea a bit more ‘body’ than green tea but not as much as black tea, and gives the flavour a unique twist. There are subtle variations in production which produce the different flavour profiles on offer.
Both our Oolongs are grown in a certain area of China suiting the particular variety of tea plant. They are hand rolled into nuggets that slowly unfurl during brewing.
