The large leaf makes a soft and gentle cup that is revitalising with a refreshing, slightly sweet and floral taste. It is rich in those wonderful antioxidants so is a healthy beverage too.

About This Blend
White Peony (otherwise known as Pai Mu Tan or Bai Mu Dan) is a white tea.
It has almost no tannin and is low in caffeine with a remarkable amount of antioxidants that can promote general well-being.
Only the unfurled bud and youngest top two leaves are carefully plucked from the teabush and simply dried causing little oxidation. Drinking this beautiful tea is a relaxing way to give your body a healthy treat.
Tasting Notes
A smooth brew, light in colour with a delicate taste. Carries a subtle trace of floral sweetness from the added rose petals. Very refreshing.

Brewing Guide
A tablespoon measure (use fingers to prevent breaking up the leaf). It's important to only use boiled water cooled to a temperature of circa 80 degrees Celsius. Too hot water will burn the leaves and destroy the flavour. Brew 3 - 5 minutes. Any longer could make it bitter. This tea can be re-infused for a second cup. Serve without milk.
