Pure, Light & Delicate

Our white tea is an artisan crafted product, taking great skill to harvest, using only the finest part of the tea plant. The carefully hand-picked leaf is then expertly dried producing a light and refreshing drink with a delicate taste. Owing to its lack of oxidation and low temperature brewing method, it is also much lower in caffeine than black tea.

About This Blend

Our white tea is exclusively harvested in very small quantities during late spring by carefully selecting the finest tender buds and top two leaves of the tea plant. Leaves are left whole, all of a certain size, offering a mix of light and dark-coloured greens and silver buds. It is traditionally hand-processed by withering in shaded sunlight then air dried to create its unique light and delicate taste. White tea has a remarkable amount of antioxidants that can promote general well-being.

Tasting Notes

Makes a clear, straw-coloured infusion with a smooth, light and highly refreshing taste. It's great iced too!

Brewing Guide

Be generous with the leaf, around a tablespoon per cup (it is preferable to dispense with your fingers rather than a spoon to prevent breaking up the leaf). Use fresh boiled water cooled to 80 degrees Celsius. (Try adding a splash of cold water and leave the lid off the kettle for 2 mins) Brew 3 - 5 minutes. As with any tea, it's important not let the leaves stew in the water as this will make it bitter. This white tea can be re-infused for a second cup.
