Considered a light breakfast style tea, it is noted for its complex flavour profile - smooth but with subtle 'smokiness', that can only be described as being reminiscent of hot toast and an excellent accompaniment with such!

About This Blend
There are many different grades of Keemun -ours is 3 Monkey. An orthodox tea from Qimen County. Considered a light Breakfast tea, Keemun has a complex flavour that is deep and aromatic without being lush or floral.
Tasting Notes
A bright reddish liquor is brewed from the fine quality, artisanal rolled leaves of this superb tea. It has a deep complex flavour with many layers. There are hints of smokiness that can be compared to well done toast and a vinous , fruity profile reminiscent of the fine qualities of a Burgundy wine.
Keemun tea will keep for years, if well stored. It takes on a mellow, winy character. Serve with a little milk to further enhance its flavour.

Brewing Guide
1 teaspoon per cup. Brew 3-5 mins. Use water just off the boil. Adjust both quantity and brew time according to desired strength and the addition of milk.
