About This Blend

The hibiscus shrub, a native to Africa, is known for its large, vibrantly coloured flowers. Whilst the blooms look stunning in the landscape, it’s only enjoyed in a culinary sense when it is dried. Full of vitamin C, this cleansing infusion also makes a marvellous iced tea or frozen iced lolly. Make up ice cubes to add a pretty pink colour and tangy twist to drinks - delicious when added to an alcoholic cocktail!  A little sugar or honey can be added if you prefer.

Brewing Guide

Use water just off the boil. Leaves are large and of varying sizes. I tend to use a dessert-sized spoon equivalent per cup and leave at least 5 mins. Brew for as long as desired, depending on the strength you prefer. Leaves can be re-brewed for a 2nd cup. Adjust both quantity and brew time according to desired strength. Drink without milk.
