After cleaning, ensure the caddy is completely dry inside before adding your tea. Ideally wipe out with a dry or slightly damp cloth. It's advised to refill the caddy with the same tea. Strong tea such as Earl grey and Lapsang can 'taint' it with their powerful aroma.
